Encinitas is a coastal-inland city that mixes old with new. Many parts of the Encinitas real estate area are upscale. There are many Encinitas ocean view homes, Encinitas whitewater view homes, and Encinitas oceanfront homes. The actual town of Encinitas is located between Solana Beach and Carlsbad. Encinitas has an approximate population of over 64,000. Like the Carlsbad real estate area, Encinitas is also famous for flowers, especially poinsettias.
The Encinitas real estate area was incorporated in 1986 and is made up of five areas: Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Leucadia, Olivenhain, Old Encinitas, and New Encinitas. Each area has a very different idenity. Encinitas school rankings, like the Carlsbad real estate area, are very high. Schools rank generally in 80th and 90th percentiles, indicating a ver strong support for education.
There are many things to do in Encinitas. The beaches are fantastic and numerous. Encinitas just may be the surf capital of San Diego County. Moonlight Beach is famous for families. Tourist seem to like the sunset balloons rides where you get incredible views of the Pacific sunset and all the surrounding areas.
