Prudential California Realty

Prudential California Realty

Gary Harmon joined Prudential Real Estate in 1989.    Gary choose Prudential Realty because of the great name and strength of the “Rock.”   The brand (The Rock) is recognized by 96% of consumers worldwide.  Although Prudential Insurance had been a leader in the Insurance field, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates were just starting.  21 years later, the Prudential real estate network has over 58,000 real estate sales professionals, 1,800 offices, $185 billion in sales, and has closed over 616,000 transactions.

Prudential California Realty

Soon after starting in the Escondido real estate business and other markets in San Diego County, Prudential Real Estate  decided it could be more successful by buying a rival real estate company, Merril Lynch.  It then sold off the offices in various markets to successful brokers.  Steve Games, who owned the very successful Pickford Realty, purchase the franchise rights to most of the Prudential offices in San Diego North County.   Steve called his franchise Prudential California Realty.  After many years of growth Steve Games sold his company to Warren Buffet.  Prudential California Realty, a franchise owned by an affiliate of Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway) is one of the top 5 brokerages in the nation.  Prudential California Realty is the largest company in the Prudential Real Estate international network.  Prudential California Realty has over 100 offices, 3,600 sales associates, over $17 billion in sales, and over 18,000 transaactions.

Gary Harmon, Escondido Real Estate and North County Real Estate Experience

Gary’s first office was the Prudential California Realty office in Rancho Bernardo.  While in the Prudential Rancho Bernardo office Gary learned about real estate in Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, and Scripps Ranch.  After a few years, Gary moved to the Escondido to help Diane Hogencamp open a new branch, Prudential California Realty Escondido.  In addition to the aforementioned North County real estate areas, Gary became and Expert at Escondido real estate,  Valley Center, Ramona, San Marcos, and Vista.  Gary became the sales manager and the assistant manager for the Prudential Escondido office.  3 years ago, Gary Harmon and Diane Hogencamp move to San Marcos to open a new 12,000 esf Prudential California Realty.   Soon the Oceanside office was merged into that office.  Gary started learning the Oceanside real estate business while still servicing his Escondido real estate clients.  With the market downturn, the San Marcos office was closed and Gary moved  to the successful La Costa office where he currently works.  Gary continues to serve the markets he knows, Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside, Encinitas, and Carlsbad.  For more San Diego North County real estate information see Gary’s main website www.HomeInfoSanDiego.com.
