Escondido School System

Before any family would consider buying a home in  the Escondido real estate area that would want to know all about the quality and availability of the Escondido school system.   Escondido has 3 high schools, 3 middle schools, 15 elementary schools and several charter schools.  There is also a satelite location of Palomar College in Escondido.   Only a few minutes to the west of Escondido is Palomar Junior college and the California State University at San Marcos.  Both of these are large commuter schools.  The new light rail train called the Sprinter, that runs from Escondido to the coast, also serves these colleges.
